2 reviews for Deluxe Oceanview Cottage

  1. We really enjoyed in this authentically Bahamian cottage at Abaco Beach Resort. It feels like the island – relaxed and carefree but it has everything you need (and the AC = awesome!) The kitchen is stocked with enough tools to make a good meal when you feel like it (Maxwell’s grocery store is right down the street) – that is, if you can pull yourself away from the amazing food at Angler’s! The two rooms are spacious and clean – with two bathrooms. The rooms can be separated and there is a separate entrance and patio for each. The sitting room is cozy and the deck outside (with awesome views) is very spacious. The row of cottages is in the perfect spot – between the main building where all the rooms are and the pool / pool bar, plus it is just across from the sand volleyball courts / beach! Why four starts and not five? I would have loved a few more kitchen knives / tools and pots to cook with.

  2. As someone with extensive food allergies, I always try to stay at resorts that have a stove and a fridge as a just in case. Thankfully, the restaurant staff were very accommodating with my dietary restrictions (gluten-free, no seafood, beef, pineapple, and peppers) with advanced notice so didn’t need to use the stove at all! The cottage was spacious, and the AC was really refreshing after the super hot and humid days spent there. I was also pleasantly surprised by the strong free WiFi in the cottage as well since I know it can be hit or miss on smaller islands! The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. Would love to see a bit more updated modern decor in the rooms in the future, but overall comfortable and quiet stay!
