Your kids will share experiences from their native country and hear all about life in others while participating in authentic island activities like catching, cleaning, and cooking fish and learning how to crack a conch. Your kids will also explore the island by foot and bike, and can learn about local sea life through water excursions.

Towering pine trees and coconut palms sway in the tropical island breeze. The sun shines down warming the top pools of the blue holes. While many visitors come to the Out Islands for our wonderful variety of water-based activities, it’s those who venture inland who get to learn other aspects of what makes our destination so unique.
Abaco Beach Resort and Boat Harbour Marina offers eco-tour packages lead by a local Bahamas National Trust tour guide. This cultural and historical journey through Marsh Harbour and Great Abaco Island takes guests on an adventure by foot, on bicycle, and by kayak. Set out to explore Abaco’s six national parks, photograph the rare Abaco Parrot, search for the beautiful wild horses of Abaco, and learn about the destination’s heritage!
National Parks: Fowl Cays National Park, Walker’s Cay National Park, Black Sound Cay National Reserve, Tilloo Cay Reserve, Pelican Cays Land and Sea Park, and Abaco National Park.
