Abaco Beach Resort and Boat Harbour Marina offers eco-tour packages lead by a local Bahamas National Trust tour guide. This cultural and historical journey through Marsh Harbour and Great Abaco Island takes guests on an adventure by foot, on bicycle, and by kayak. Set out to explore Abaco’s six national parks, photograph the rare Abaco Parrot, search for the beautiful wild horses of Abaco, and learn about the destination’s heritage!

Kayak Adventures: Enjoy a kayaking experience like no other in the beautiful South Abaco where we will explore the mangroves and their beauty, while touring with an experienced local guide who can show you the hidden treasures and richness of the natural environment that you are immersed in.

Biking Adventures: Take an incredible biking tour through the pristine Pine forests of Abaco. Tap into a rich history, and experience the local flora and fauna. We can design a custom tour for all kinds of fitness levels.

Bird Watching: South Abaco is home to some of the rarest birds among the birding community, world wide - the Abaco Parrot. Among other beautiful species in the country, the Abaco Parrot is a ground nesting bird that lives a very social life and can be seen, almost exclusively, in the Pine Forest in South Abaco!

Located in the center of The Abacos, Abaco Beach Resort and Boat Harbour Marina puts guests in the middle of an array of barrier reefs and islands. A world of untouched beaches, sparkling open water, and history-laden villages extend in every direction. With colorful names like Man-O-War, Hope Town, New Plymouth and Guana Cay, the settlements are preferred stops for island hopping adventurers.

There’s no better way to experience the Out Islands than from the water. You can explore a different part of the islands each day and never return to the same one twice!

There are as many ways to explore as there are sights to see. A convenient ferry system connects Marsh Harbour with the major outlying cays and islands. You can sail or cruise in your own boat, rent a boat, or arrange for a charter with Cruise Abaco. Set sail for a picnic on a deserted beach, snorkel an unexplored reef, or cruise into port for dinner. There’s no limit to what you will discover!
